Acupuncture is a form of treatment that has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. By inserting very thin needles in certain parts of the body, acupuncture can help treat many common disorders that affect our daily life. Acupuncture is commonly used to treat pain, but also can be used to treat a variety of conditions including infertility, neuropathy, GI issues, allergies, and stress.
In March of 2022, The Massage Approach partnered up with Be Well NY Acupuncture.
Kristal Cianca L.Ac, RDH is both a Licensed Acupuncturist & Registered Dental Hygienist in New York State. She graduated from Farmingdale State in 2006 with an A.S. in Dental Hygiene. She then went on to attend the New York College of Health Professions earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences & Master’s Degree in Acupuncture, graduating in 2014. She is a NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique) certified practitioner and has experience in facial acupuncture, as well as cancer care.
Danielle Lindsay L.Ac is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of New York, and board-certified by the NCCAOM. She received her Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from the New York College of Health Professions, and is currently completing her Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the Johns Hopkins University. Danielle is very passionate about natural, holistic health. She has a gentle touch, and believes it is important to listen to each patient. She utilizes numerous techniques including cupping, gua sha, acupressure and electrical acupuncture.
