The Massage Approach

Michelle DeStefano is a Licensed Massage Therapist that specializes in Orthopedic, Sports & Deep Tissue massage. Michelle graduated from the New York College of Health Professions in 2000. For the past 24 years she has worked with athletes in a wide range of sports, in helping them to keep their bodies able to maintain a high level of performance in their sport. In June 2024, she joined The Massage Approach team! Michelle utilizes her extensive massage background, along with her intuition to tailor each massage session to the individuals needs.

Jackie Addeo graduated with a business degree in 2011 quickly realizing that it was no longer the path she wanted to be on. While running a chiropractic office for 10 years she was able to experience not only for herself but through the patients how alternate medicine can truly benefit someone. In 2014 she went back to school at QCC in Bayside for her massage license and upon graduating has continued her education to increase her proficiency and skills. After many speed bumps through out her life massage has remained a constant in proving how beneficial the healing powers are and she strives for her clients to have the same encounter.

Dakota Godek is a recent graduate from the New York College of Health Professions. From a young age, Dakota has had the unique ability to connect with people on an emotional and spiritual level. He wanted to spread healing with the gifts and talents he had been given. Massage therapy was a way he felt he could heal on an energetic level. During his clinical hours, he was often commended for his ability to find what was wrong without even being led, and his clients felt an amazing difference after their treatment. Dakota specializes in deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy.

Zoran Jovanovic (also known as "Z"), is an accomplished licensed massage therapist with over 20 years experience. In the mid 1990's Zoran was encouraged by others to switch careers and become a massage therapist. Soon after, Zoran attended The Swedish Institute in NYC and graduated in 1998. He has worked in Spas and Gyms, and we feel blessed that he has now joined our Center! He specializes in an array of modalities including; Sports massage, Trigger point therapy, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, and Reflexology.

Jessica Lippo desired to be a licensed massage therapist so that she could help people identify with what they are suffering from physically and ultimately help them to heal.  In 2010 Jessica had to pause her career to be a caretaker for her Mom who suffered a traumatic brain injury and had a massive stroke.  During that period, she witnessed how quickly the services for physical and occupational therapy were cut off.  She was able to use her talents to prevent her Mom's muscles from atrophying and allow her body to have increased fluidity. Her style of massage is one of great relaxation, serenity and has a passion for Reflexology. She believes strongly that it is a targeted pressure-point massage that restores the flow of energy throughout the body .  One patient said, "she forgets where she is when Jessica massages her because she loses track of time and space because she is so relaxed." In today’s crazy world of chaos, errands, endless activities with kids and work take time to care for yourself and bless yourself with 1 hour of peace and tranquility.  Your body and mind will thank you. Jessica graduated from NY College of Health Professions in 2006 with an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy.
